The clear pick is BROTECT AirGlass: an ultra-thin, 9H-hard glass screen protector with excellent touch sensitivity and an anti-fingerprint coating.

BROTECT AirGlass is roughly half as thick and light as a standard tempered screen protector, yet offers the same scratch-resistant 9H hardness.

• Outstanding clarity for a crisp, sharp display
• Anti-fingerprint coating that repels smudges and dirt
• Extra flexibility for noticeably better touch sensitivity than thicker glass
• Comes as a 3-pack for the front, perfect for easy replacement

It's the ideal choice for anyone who wants maximum scratch protection without adding noticeable thickness to the display.

For a smartphone we recommend glass: its 9H hardness gives noticeably better drop and impact protection than a thin film.

Both materials guard reliably against scratches, but they differ in impact protection.

• Glass: 9H hardness absorbs shock on impact and tends to crack in a controlled way rather than damaging the screen
• Film: very thin and flexible, more affordable, but with less shock absorption

Since a smartphone faces daily drops and knocks, we recommend glass options like AirGlass. If you prefer maximum thinness and flexibility, a screen protector film still offers reliable scratch protection.

Yes, the BROTECT Privacy screen protector blocks side views from about 60 degrees, keeping your data hidden from others.

The privacy technology relies on a fine louvre structure that only makes the display visible from a direct viewing angle.

• Blocks side views from roughly 60 degrees
• Also reduces blue light emissions by about 35-60%
• Still provides reliable scratch protection

That keeps messages, PINs and personal content hidden from onlookers on the bus, train or in the office, without any noticeable drop in screen brightness for you.

Clean the display thoroughly, work in a dust-free space, align the protector centrally, and press outward from the middle.

A clean, dust-free environment is the single most important factor for a bubble-free application.

• Clean the display thoroughly with the included wet and dry wipes
• Work in the bathroom right after a shower, since the steam helps settle dust particles
• Align the protector precisely using the camera and edge cutouts
• Press from the centre outward to push air out from under the adhesive layer

With most products, any remaining small air bubbles disappear on their own within a few days.

Yes, our screen protectors are cut close to the edge, so they stay compatible with most common cases.

Screen protectors and tempered glass for the iPhone 17 are precision-cut to leave enough clearance at the edge for a case rim.

• Compatible with most standard cases
• Precise cutouts for the camera and sensors
• No lifting at the edges when properly aligned

With very tight-fitting or edge-to-edge specialty cases, a slight edge transition can occur in rare cases — it's worth checking that case's product description if you're unsure.

For drop protection, glass is often the first choice; upscreen Spy Shield Clear Premium Privacy Screen Protector is a film and is mainly about privacy, flexibility, and everyday scratch protection.

It depends on your priority:

• On the go: Glass protectors are often better if you want more impact/drop protection.
• Everyday flexibility: Films are thin, conform well to edges, and protect against scratches.
• Privacy: upscreen Spy Shield Clear Premium Privacy Screen Protector belongs to specialty films because the focus is side-view privacy.

If privacy matters more than maximum impact resistance, upscreen Spy Shield Clear Premium Privacy Screen Protector is typically the better fit than standard glass.

Yes. upscreen Spy Shield Clear Premium Privacy Screen Protector reduces side viewing so content is much harder to see from an angle.

upscreen Spy Shield Clear Premium Privacy Screen Protector is designed as a privacy film.

• From the front, the screen typically remains readable.
• From the side, the display appears darker and less clear.
• The top coating also helps protect against scratches.

The perceived effect can vary with viewing angle and ambient light.

upscreen Spy Shield Clear Premium Privacy Screen Protector is made of a multi-layer plastic film with a built-in louver structure.

The material is a thin, flexible film with an embedded louver layer that limits light passing through at an angle. The surface is smooth and easy to clean.

Clean the surface, align upscreen Spy Shield Clear Premium Privacy Screen Protector carefully, then press from the center outward in a low-dust environment.

For a bubble-free application:

• Wash your hands and clean the surface with a microfiber cloth.
• Remove dust (for example with a piece of tape) before placing the film.
• Align upscreen Spy Shield Clear Premium Privacy Screen Protector, set one edge first, and lower it slowly.
• Smooth from the center to the edges using a card or a soft cloth.

If small bubbles remain, wait a bit and gently push them toward the edge. For cleaning, a microfiber cloth is usually enough; for heavier dirt, use a mild glass cleaner without abrasives.
