Tempered glass isn't suitable for the curved display of the Forerunner 965. We therefore offer only flexible film protectors that conform to the curvature.

In general, tempered glass and screen protector films each offer different advantages: glass tends to excel in scratch resistance on flat surfaces, while film is thin and flexible.

Since the Garmin Forerunner 965 has a curved display, a rigid glass protector would chip at the edges or fail to sit flush. For this reason, we offer only flexible film protectors for this device, precisely shaped to the curvature. Within this category, you can choose between a clear version (BROTECT Flex, Savvies) and a matte, anti-glare version (BROTECT Flex Matt).

The BROTECT Flex Matt film reduces distracting reflections thanks to its matte surface — ideal for readable display values in direct sunlight.

The standard films (BROTECT Flex, Savvies) are clear and display the screen true to the original. For situations with strong sunlight, such as running or cycling outdoors, we recommend the BROTECT Flex Matt Full-Screen protector.

• Matte, anti-glare surface reduces reflections
• Self-healing coating is retained
• Full touch functionality despite the matte texture

The BROTECT Flex Full-Screen screen protector is our top pick — it conforms precisely to the curved display and features a self-healing coating.

For the Garmin Forerunner 965, we recommend the BROTECT Flex Full-Screen screen protector, available as a 2-pack. The material is specifically designed for curved displays and wraps precisely around the curvature of your watch.

• Precision-cut and manufactured in Germany
• Self-healing coating lets minor scratches disappear on their own
• High transparency for a true-to-original display image
• Full touch sensitivity is preserved

Yes, the films are water- and sweat-resistant, easy to wipe clean, and don't affect touch operation even with damp fingers.

The screen protectors for the Garmin Forerunner 965 are built for active sport use.

• Sweat and moisture bead off the smooth surface
• The display can simply be wiped clean with a soft cloth for hygienic maintenance
• Touch operation remains reliable even when the display is slightly damp

Clean the display thoroughly, apply the film in a dust-free environment, and follow the included instructions. Small air bubbles usually disappear on their own within a few days.

For a bubble-free result, we recommend the following steps:

• Clean the display with the included cleaning cloth, free of grease
• Apply in as dust-free a room as possible, for example in the bathroom right after a shower
• Position the film precisely using the application card and the included video guide
• Any remaining small air bubbles are no cause for concern: they usually disappear within 2 to 3 days thanks to the adhesive layer
