Yes, touch response remains fully intact and the protector easily handles sweat, rain, and swim sessions on the 5 ATM water-resistant watch.

The protector doesn't affect touch control on the vivoactive 6 at all – swiping, tapping, and using the training features work just as precisely after installation as before. Since the watch is water-resistant to 5 ATM and built for swim tracking, the protector reliably withstands sweat, rain, and contact with pool or sea water without lifting. For long-term durability, it's still a good idea to wipe the watch and protector dry after heavy water exposure.

Clean the display, work in a dust-free space, center the protector, and smooth out air from the middle toward the edges.

Before applying the protector, first clean the display with the included wet wipe, then go over it with the dry cloth so no residue is left behind. Work in as dust-free an environment as possible and remove any remaining particles with the dust-removal sticker. Center the protector on the display, press it down gently, and smooth any trapped air from the middle toward the edges. If something goes wrong, a spare protector is right there in the 2-pack. Any small air bubbles that remain visible after installation usually disappear on their own within a few days.

Yes, the BROTECT Flex Matt Full-Screen protector reduces reflections and is especially suited to using the vivoactive 6 outdoors.

The matte surface of the BROTECT Flex Matt Full-Screen protector scatters incoming light, cutting down on distracting reflections, for example in direct sunlight during outdoor workouts. Touch sensitivity and the self-healing coating against minor scratches remain fully intact, so heart rate, time, and training data on the vivoactive 6 stay easy to read even as lighting conditions change.

Only a foil protector is available for the Garmin vivoactive 6, since its curved display doesn't allow for a rigid glass protector.

Glass protectors offer very good scratch and impact resistance thanks to their high hardness (usually 9H), but they're rigid and can't conform to a curved display edge. Since the vivoactive 6's display is curved at the edge, a stiff glass panel wouldn't sit flush there. That's why protectionfilms24 only offers flexible foil protectors for this device, which follow the curve precisely while still reliably guarding against scratches and dust. Several foil variants are available, from the particularly affordable Savvies UltraClear to the more robust BROTECT Flex foil, plus a clear and a matte finish for each.

The BROTECT Flex Full-Screen protector is the most popular screen protector for the Garmin vivoactive 6 and covers its curved display edge to edge.

Among Garmin vivoactive 6 owners, the BROTECT Flex Full-Screen protector is the clear favorite. Its flexible material, developed specifically for curved displays, wraps precisely around the watch's rounded edges, reliably guarding them against scratches and dust as well. Thanks to its self-healing coating, minor scratches disappear on their own, touch response remains fully accurate, and the crystal-clear finish keeps the watch face and stats perfectly visible. The protector is cut to size in Germany and comes as a 2-pack, so a spare is on hand right away if the first application doesn't go perfectly.
