The thin AirGlass tempered glass for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is cut to be case-friendly and doesn't affect the fit of most protective cases.

Thanks to its low thickness and the precise cut right up to the display edge, most off-the-shelf cases won't catch on an awkward lip around the border. The camera cutout on the display+camera variant is also matched exactly to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's camera lenses.

With very bulky cases that have a strongly raised camera rim, a slight edge can still occur in individual cases — a quick check against your own case before buying will settle that.

The BROTECT AirGlass film for display and camera is the most popular choice for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

BROTECT AirGlass is roughly twice as thin and light as classic tempered glass, yet offers the same scratch-resistant 9H hardness and covers both the display and the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra in one set.

The material is highly transparent and features an anti-fingerprint coating, so smudges and fingerprints wipe off easily. It's custom-cut in Germany, and the set includes 3 pieces.

Clean the display thoroughly, work in a dust-free area, and align the glass using the camera cutout – any air bubbles can then be smoothed out towards the edges.

First clean the display with the included wet wipe, then go over it with the dry cloth so no residue is left behind. A dust-removal sticker helps pick up any remaining particles before application.

Align the tempered glass using the camera cutout as a guide and lay it down centrally — the adhesive layer will then pull it into place on its own. Any small air bubbles that remain will usually disappear on their own within a few days. Since the set includes 3 pieces, a replacement is on hand right away if the first attempt doesn't go perfectly.

Yes, privacy films such as the upscreen Spy Shield block side views of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra display from about 60 degrees.

A privacy screen protector darkens the display for anyone viewing from the side at roughly a 60-degree angle, while the content stays clearly visible when viewed head-on — handy on the go or in an open-plan office.

The available privacy films also cut blue light by around 35 to 60 percent and offer the same scratch protection as a regular film. Several variants are available for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

For the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra we offer both tempered glass and flexible films – glass for maximum drop protection, film for an especially thin feel.

Tempered glass is very hard (usually 9H) and absorbs part of the impact energy in a fall, though it's somewhat thicker than a film. For a flagship device like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, we tend to recommend glass if maximum drop protection is the priority.

A thin, flexible film, on the other hand, offers a barely noticeable feel and suits everyday scratch protection well. Both materials are available in several variants for this device.

It depends on your needs.

Glass films offer more protection against drops. Protective films are flexible and protect well against scratches. Privacy filters limit side viewing. Savvies screen protector films belong to the flexible film category.

A clean surface and slow application help.

Clean the display thoroughly and apply the film slowly from one side to the other. Gentle pressure helps remove air bubbles.

They are made from flexible plastic film.

The material is a thin, flexible plastic-based film with a smooth surface. It is softer than glass films but adapts very well to the display.

Savvies screen protector films are made from flexible film material and protect the display from scratches and everyday wear. They fit smoothly, adhere well to edges, and remain visually unobtrusive.
